“Charity sees the need, not the cause.”
Giving back to society is a fundamental element of any human being, giving back is not necessarily giving back money, it’s all about what you have taken from society and what should be given back during your life cycle.
Normally Charity begins at home, and usually stays there, on a casual conversation between me and my father, which is fresh in my memories, gratitude should be an attitude was nourished well in my mind. Life is not about being rich, popular, highly educated, or perfect, it’s all about being humble and giving back to society, keeping this in mind we started this journey of SUCT officially in 2015.
The thoughts on what space we can contribute to giving back to society, we envisioned providing education among the poorest of the poor children, irrespective of their caste or religion.
The space of contributing to society through education is mainly because * Has the power of creating humans more civilized * Teaches values * Provides Empowerment * Bridges the borders.
The above all in turn improve our country’s economy, as we all live in an economy-determined world. As of today, we are pleased to support 84 students across various cities/villages in Tamilnadu, with a mission of increasing the contribution count to 1000 by the year 2030.
The current achievement and our vision are fulfilled purely by our trust members, volunteers, and concurring people’s effort, I take this opportunity to thank them for their time and effort to make this happen and to endure more.
As Buddha said, “every charitable act is a stepping stone towards heaven,” I am poised that the recipients of SUCT – Thulir, whom we nurture now, will rapidly become the much-needed catalysts to bring about the optimistic transformation in their families, communities, and country at large.
The Sathya Unar Charitable Trust’s primary objective is to provide higher education (bachelors/undergraduate level) to students in poverty and deprivation irrespective of caste or religion.
We participate in various social welfare activities when the need arises.
To tackle poverty, we have policies and programs that address the structural issues that perpetuate poverty. expanding access to education, and promoting economic development in low-income communities. Our initiatives of Thulir, TKS Subbulakshmi IAS academy, and Police academy programs are organized to empower low-income communities.
Creating impact through charitable giving and philanthropic initiatives. Individuals and organizations can support efforts that aim to improve the lives of others and promote social change. We are partnered with Amadasoft India Pvt Ltd and Ratna Schools to expand and grow with our philanthropic initiatives.
Charity is a powerful tool for creating social impact. By leveraging resources, expertise, and passion, charities can help to address pressing social issues and build a better, more equitable world for all. Currently we are supported by many individual contributors both as volunteers and donors along with organizations.
With a deep understanding of the social issues being addressed and a commitment to ongoing learning and improvement.
